What was the highlight of Hotel Tropical Andorra
Nice hotel with a pool + sauna near city center
It was nice to find a hotel that was very central - we were about a 10, 15 minute walk away from the main shopping area in Andorra de la Vella. The spa was a pleasant experience, even if it was somewhat crowded with kids but I suppose that was to be expected. The staff were helpful and friendly when I dealt with them but I am a fluent French speaker (see part 2 below). The rooms were big and spacious.
Parking was difficult, the hotel had a tiny carpark that was full, then we had to find street parking which we managed, but it was tricky. My brother-in-law asked the lady at the reception a question in English and she answered in French - I speak French fluently so I translated for him (my bro-in-law doesn't speak any French), but imagine if I wasn't there? Likewise, the whole decor of the hotel felt somewhat dated. I would gladly stay there again, though I'm not sure my brother-in-law might feel the same way.

What was the highlight of Hotel Tropical Andorra
Perfect for a weekend away with family. Close to skiing & shops!
The cleanest hotel bathroom I've seen (and I've stayed at many hotels). The size of the room was amazing. The children's playground perfect for entertainment. The shopping mall was a 2 minute drive away. Room service is so cheap.
The bed was hard and squeaky. Hotel parking is 20€ per day.

Nice hotel to be in Andorra, with nice breakfast
The breakfast was very complete. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Location is good for outdoor activities, and not far from the center. Good swimming pool and children recreation area.
Room price a bit expensive, but according with the Andorra prices. Forniture is a bit old fashioned.

Felt a marked man because of my disageement.
the pool and sauna
having to pay over 1,400 euros up front on arrival for hotel and car parking without seeing room or facilities, apparently its company policy ! Being given cramped parking space caused damage to hire car.
